The bride and groom were both of Full age, and he was a watchmaker, as was his new farther in law. Joseph's father is stated as being Joseph Biddlecombe, which was not derived from the Census which gave his mother's name as Ann Phillips.
The witnesses are also of note. Henry Porter is presumably the bride's father. The Grigg family come into play later.
